I’m writing an article about my Carbagerun rally from last February. This is taking a rather long time. Should I write this in a more compact way? More/fewer pictures? Less dry?

I like to write things out on my phone, then copy/paste. Less chance of getting kinja’d

Maybe split it up in multiple posts? What you have now does look good, despite it being quite long.

Take your time, but I’d like to know everything and see aaalllllllll the pictures. So I’d prefer a longer, more detailed writeup.

Bear in mind short attention spans these days...

Well I definitely enjoyed it so far, but I appreciate dry humor. You may want to break it into multiple parts just to keep Kinja from messing it up, but I’m looking forward to the rest.

I’d split it up into separate posts, just ‘cause a decent number of people who’d otherwise enjoy it will probably take one look, think ‘This’ll take a while’, and go elsewhere.
If you plan to go into every day as extensively as you did the first and second - which I’d recommend; the detail was cool - I’d say a post-per-day, with the into/day zero and final summation lumped in with the first and last days, respectively, would work pretty well.
Or, hell, you could just go full-on long-read—it wouldn’t be the first good long-read to do well on Oppo.

That was a nice read. I think you should cut part 1 here, and start a second article for the rest.
